On the surface, the Red Fox is not
very much different from the usual Solid Red discus. But
actually, the Red Fox is a mutated strain of red discus.
It had lost it's nine bar features as in the case of the
Blue Diamond. On the body of the Red Fox, you cannot find
any Turquoise stripes.

The Blue Bat is actually an
improved version of the Blue Diamond. The difference is
that the Blue Bat is high-bodied with an enlarged
finnage. The shape of the head is not contour but very
sharp and so is the case with the other parts of the body
giving a comfortable soothing feeling when one look at
this fish.

The Red Spot discus is recently
one of the most popular discus strain. Although this
strain existed in our tank-raised environment for over
ten years, it still bear much physical resemblance to
it's wild ancestors. And as the strain becomes more
stable; it is more difficult to breed them. Even the
daily maintainence of this discus type requires certain
skill level. But since we discus hobbyists are always on
the lookout for challenges, I believe you will find
keeping this type particularly rewarding. And so do I.
Here is my interpretation of the Red Spotted discus
.Would you be kind enough to let me know what you think
of it?
